Team USA vs. Team Australia: The Inaugural McGaughey Cup

The first annual McGaughey Cup will take place in 2023. It features the collegiate punters with the highest Simple Kicking Index from the 2020 season.

Congrats to the members of Team USA and Team Australia for your selection, and the team with most match points wins, or to reach 14.5 points wins!

There will be 3 separate matches: 2 team, and 1 individual which will be tracked on the Simple Kicking App. The event will take place in Dallas, TX in Early 2021. Details to be released shortly.

The Cup is named after Special Teams Coordinator (STC) Thomas McGaughey Jr. who is currently the STC for the New York Football Giants. In his career he has scouted, recruited, and coached punters from both nations with much success.
