The Finalists
The college football regular season has concluded and the Simple Kicking Award has named its top 3 finalists:
- Gavin Baechle, UTEP
- Christopher Dunn, North Carolina State
- Joshua Karty, Stanford
Dominating From all Ranges
All three of these kickers had fantastic seasons and did so from all ranges of the field. The three finalists posted combined stats of:
- 118/119 (99.2%) from inside 40 yards (including PATs)
- 25/27 (92.6%) from 40-49 yards
- 7/8 (87.5%) from 50+ yards
These kickers combined for a 97.4% on all attempts this season, an astounding number!
